Bringing in Spring this February 25th, and further announcements

Praying Together on February 25th, Spring Updates
Update: February 22nd, 2016

Dear Friends,

Winter has returned to Jerusalem for a while longer, but our minds are on a “spring of renewal” to our commitment to see Jerusalem be a city of prayer coexistence of the Abrahamic faiths.

Our next Praying Together in Jerusalem event is to be held on this Thursday, February 25th  at 18:00/6:00 PM outside of Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.

We were extremely pleased to see such a strong turn-out for last month’s event, but we are increasingly impressed with the number of passers-by who stop to encourage us, take photos or videos, or just give us a simple thumbs-up as they go about their business in Jerusalem.   For that reason, and others, we feel the time is right to transition towards a tri-lingual media approach, with Arabic and Hebrew being part of our media campaign alongside English.  Our belief is that we will be a more effective, inclusive entity with all three languages in use, and the feedback from our supporters has confirmed this.

We will be working towards a balanced language approach in the months to come.  In the meantime, please mark your calendars for our Praying Together event in March to be held on Thursday, March 31st at 18:30/6:30 PM.

In addition, please put a save-the-date notice for Wednesday, May 4th for a special event of interfaith fellowship at Tantur Ecumenical Institute.
